Forklift and Impact can be summarized as conveyors or material handling equipment where by a forklift will be placing a product (in most cases a pallet) onto a conveyor that will be conveyed down a line. The Impact term is used to say that the conveyor is built in a way that it can handle the force of a product being dropped on the conveyor. The impact area of a conveyor or material handling piece of equipment is generally the start or in feed end of the piece of equipment that has reinforcement built in it to prevent damage to the conveyor.
